Installing Ledger Live Desktop
- Go to the official website: ledger.com/ledger-live.
- Download the desktop version for your operating system (Windows, Mac, or Linux).
- Install the app following the on-screen instructions.
- Launch the app and connect your Ledger device using the USB cable.
Setting Up Ledger Live
- Initialize or Restore Wallet:
- If you have a new Ledger, choose “Set up as new device”.
- If you already have a wallet, select “Restore from recovery phrase” and enter your 24-word recovery phrase.
- Set a Device PIN:
- Your Ledger device requires a PIN for security. This PIN must be entered each time you connect the device.
- Install Apps for Cryptocurrencies:
- Ledger uses apps for different coins. For example, install the Bitcoin app to manage Bitcoin or the Ethereum app for Ethereum.
- You can install and uninstall apps anytime without affecting your funds.
- Add Accounts in Ledger Live:
