How to Login to Ledger Live

Ledger Live is the official desktop and mobile application that lets you manage your cryptocurrencies securely using a Ledger hardware wallet. Logging in doesn’t mean entering a password online; instead, it’s about connecting your Ledger device to the app safely.

Step 1: Download and Install Ledger Live

  1. Visit the official Ledger website: ledger.com/ledger-live.
  2. Download the version compatible with your device: Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android.
  3. Install the application and follow the on-screen instructions.
⚠️ Only download Ledger Live from the official website to avoid phishing scams.

Step 2: Connect Your Ledger Device

  1. Plug your Ledger hardware wallet into your computer or mobile device using the USB cable (or Bluetooth for Ledger Nano X).
  2. Unlock your device by entering your PIN code.

Step 3: Open Ledger Live and Access Your Account

  1. Open Ledger Live and choose “Get Started.”
  2. Select “Initialize as new device” if your Ledger is new, or “Restore device from recovery phrase” if you’re recovering an existing wallet.

Step 4: Adding Accounts

Once your device is connected, you can:

  • Add accounts for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other supported cryptocurrencies.
  • Check your balances and transaction history.
  • Receive, send, and exchange crypto securely.
